The Magic of Life

Dedicated and inspired by his Mom, The Magic of Life is his most requested program. Michael combines humor, audience participation and his story of being a survivor of a drunk driving crash that killed his mother when he was barely 8 weeks old.   Michael has presented this program to schools, colleges, and on military bases to help prevent impaired driving in their communities.  For the last 12 years he has been presenting it at the Stow Municipal Court in Stow, Ohio to first time DUI offenders.   We all have a purpose in life, making our roads safer and prevent impaired driving is his.  Watch the promo video: https://youtu.be/S8IX0_ser98?si=EU4nSThCeVTy86QD


Jewish Born, Jamaican Raised

Looking for a different type of diversity program? Jewish Born, Jamaican Raised is Michael’s unique journey of being Jewish and raised by a Jamaican woman who stepped into a motherhood role after the death of his mother when he was an infant. This interactive program will explore his diverse upbringing along with coping with anti-Semitism throughout his life. JBJR is humorous, emotional, inspirational and discuss issues that are prevalent in today’s society when it comes to diversity.


Saved By Our Connections

Born out of his second TedxTalk at Ashland University in 2024, this unique program will focus on how our special connections in life impact us. It will also dive deep into how we cope with tragedy, grief and mental health from the male perspective.   He shares his emotional story of how grief counseling saved his own life. Michael finds it empowering to lead a discussion on these issues that can help others.  Like all his programs, Michael blends humor into an emotional story that is also interactive, but also makes people feel comfortable in sharing their story relating to mental health. 


Life After The Speedo

Here is a fantastic program for your student athletes based upon Michael’s life as a collegiate swimmer.  How do student-athletes balance school with their athletic career? Michael’s experience not only as a swimmer, but also academic advisor can give your students the tools to be successful. This is his emotional journey of having to stop being an athlete due to injuries and how to cope with the sudden change in life.  Your student-athletes will be able to relate to him in this fun, and inspirational presentation. 


College Success from an Academic Advisor’s Point of View

Who better to lead a program on how to survive college from an academic advisor with almost 25 year’s experience?  Whether you’re a parent or a student, the audience will gain a different perspective since Michael works on a college campus.  This fun, but yet informative program will educate you on the rigors of college that assist in your success.
